Oceanography and seabirds on the Great Barrier Reef

Oceanographic, environmental and climatic factors strongly influence food resources in the marine environment . My PhD was focused on these factors for seabirds of the Great Barrier Reef and this research continues. I paid particular attention to the effect of large and small scale oceanic frontal systems on resource availability at all three spatial scales utilised by Wedge-tailed shearwaters when foraging during breeding and non-breeding seasons.
